Default Skirts?

Anyone see this? 04-08 Chrysler Crossfire Core Side Skirts Duraflex : eBay Motors (item 260552667422 end time Apr-13-10 22:24:21 PDT)
Is this the same guy that messed up this whole project? Or are these being manufactured now?

Not 100% sure. They're too cheap to be anything genuinely worth buying... With the limited market we have, if they were remotely constructed well, they would be near the original GBP...

The Skirts were manufactured through duraflex, they were never susposed to have the rights to sell them. We all know the story with Dan, I am assuming with all the neg surronding the skirts he decided to release the mold. I can only imagine he is taking a bath on the sets he screwed us out of sitting in his garage. He looks like he is trying to dump thr sets he has cheap now that duraflex is selling. For all we know they probably agreed to let him sell as many as possible wihout them selling for a year. Regardless it's the same junk skirt no matter how you look at it. Looks like this time around you have buyer protection on your side, might actually get a full refund if you dare to test the eaters again.

Trust me no one wanted these more than me, no one put in more time trying to make them work, I will not be buying them from duraflex

Not sure if it is directly Dan, I think Johnny fielded that one, but....

The car that is being shown is def Dan's, and from what I understand, there is a considerable amount of body work to get these to work, if you get a set that is even in good enough shape to try to make fit. I would stay away.

If someone does take the plunge, please let us know

The disclaimer at the end of the ad is pretty comprehensive, though

They all but say the buyer and his shop are going to have to put in several times the purchase price to get them into usable shape.

Does it say I bought the stolen rights to manufacture these from Dan Root the crook, and they are still a piece of crap, just like Dan Root? If not, it should.....

Just an observation but the title should reference rocker covers. Skirts belong on chicks and shoebox Chevy's, Fords, etc.

I was so disappointed. I thought by the title that this would be a non-car related thread.

Yep, that's Dan Root's car. As stated in the Ebay ad: "This product may need heat treament, minor shaving or adding of fiberglass to ensure perfectly straight gaps between product and car, lamps, hood, grill, fender, doors, trunks, etc. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE RESURFACED, primed, painted, and clear coat wet-sanded."

Stay away from this one unless you have good connections with a body shop.

Well, to be a PITA, wouldn't these actually be "skirts" in automotive terms?

Grab yourself a bucket of popcorn and a couple cold ones to read through this: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...crossfire.html
