Welcome aboard! I to am/was a VW addict and the crossfire is my first non-VW (with the exception of a hand-me-down peugeot when I first started driving). I also live outside of philadelphia--so give a honk/wave if you happen to see a black crossfire/black a-pillars/silver sides/black mesh grille.

Haha. When I was younger I actually wanted a peugot at one time. This is the first non vw car I've had in a long time, but my first car was an old e30 325i BMW (gotta keep it German!). Where in Philly are you?

I hope you came to your senses on that one! If I never owned one, I would probably be of the belief that VWs are very unreliable cars. I would probably never own another French car if the opportunity ever arose in the future. I live in the Wayne/KOP/Paoli area. How about you?

I would have LOVED to have owned any BMW when I first got my license.

Haha I didn't actually like it... the old 4 speed auto killed the 0 - 60 time in that car, and the steering was 4 turns lock to lock... very unresponsive. My Cabrio, my second car, was more fun IMHO (it was a stick). Yea, that reliability stuff is... B***. The Cabrio (I kept it) has 200k on it... and our 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg is running strong with 150k on the clock.. I'm in Lower Bucks, Langhorne area.
