that looks VERY clean for a 04! good find, I did noticed the lines on the hood are painted, that is interesting. but other than that, it looks to have no flaws.

what about the lowering springs. You think it may ride a little harsh? I agree, VERY clean looking car. The sellers said the tires are about 50%

There was only one trim package in '04...later labeled as 'Limited' so actually, the 'Base' package was introduced in 2005.

I have an Alabaster 04 "Limited" with autostick. The transmission has to be strong to survive my driving. It has a good feel to it too.

So was the "Limited". As Goldwing pointed out.
In "Automotive lingo" Limited usually means "Better than standard". When there's only one model offered (and no entry level model available) there was no reason to call an 04 a Limited, and that's why they didn't.

That is the first thing that popped into my mind, did he trade it on his 3 series about 6-8 months ago?

DId a quick search for "andrew", found a pic showing 30K on the odometer. Not saying this isn't the car but it shows 19.5k.What would be a fair price for this car? Thanks for all the input!

Andrews was a stick, cedar and debaged...not the same car.

I would ask if those stripes are paint or stickers, and would be curious about the audio install. It looks as if an amature did it and that can mean trouble. I can see in the pics the missing trim holders in the hatch near where the subs are mounted. If an installer can't even get that right, what else did they hack??

Other than that, looks like a great find.

Thanks for the info. Any idea on a fair price? KBB has private party at 10,500, retail 12,500. Are these prices usually close?

I just paid $9750 for an '04 6 speed in Alabaster with 49k on it. I bought it from a Dallas area independent dealer.

Andrews car didn't have the Cedar/Slate interior. I'm not sure, but I think it may have been an auto.
His car wouldn't have a clean Car Fax either, since some idiot deliberately wiped out the whole left side of his car with a trailer.
I think his car eventually wound up in Kentucky, but I'm sure he'll chime in eventually with the facts.
I have to agree, the stereo install would have me concerned, but I'm sure that could all be sorted out (if there was a problem). Other than that, the car looks beautiful. I don't have a clue what it's worth, in todays market (and being a Crossfire) it will probably be a bargain.
