Default How many in the UK?

First post and wondering how many Crossfires are out on the road in the UK?

I have a Cerbera and might consider the Crossfire as a second car and would
like to see how others are getting on.

Had a PT as a family car, loved it but the fuel economy was worse than
my 420bhp V8 Cerbera!

Planning a test drive shortly.

Thanks in advance.

about 600 or so we are led to believe, its the only car i've ever been stopped and asked about, its impossible to fill up with petrol without having to explain what it is.

if you don't like attention this is not the car for you

Thanks lordpercy.

The Cerbera gets plenty of attention, so I know what that feels like.

Never one to trust the official figures, what is the fuel economy really like?

Ouch, not so good then?! The PR is giving mid thirties?

I just don't understand how a 2.0 auto PT can only get 21mpg, the Crossfire 26-27mpg and
a 4.5 V8 Cerbera with 420bhp can get 21 - 22mpg?

I was really hoping it would be into the thirties at least.

I am sure I'll still want to buy one after the test drive, especially as it is almost half the price of the
T350c I was thinking about, but anyone else disappointed in the under achieving mpg?

Good god man! My wife has a citron 2.0 HDI and it only gets 36mpg. The crossfire is a 3.2 ltr.

You must be really babying that cerbera to get 21-22.

Not at all, I use it on runway's and high speed runs all the time and
living in the country, I can fly in the lanes.

It's my second Cerbera and the first one (a 4.2) was even better on fuel.

I just hoped the Crossfire would do as the PR says, mid 30's.
Never mind, I'm still looking forward to the test drive and probable ownership.

I ran a BMW 325 that only gave real world 30mpg and the MR2 before that 32mpg, both had much higher claimed MPGS.

I think the Xfire combined offical figure is 28 so i don't know where you are getting the mid 30's from?

Thanks lordpercy, much appreciated.

I'll draw up a list and email you.

Very frustrated at not being able to drive right now and having had to postpone the test drive.

Thanks again.
