I agree with others...it looks repairable. How fast were you going when you hit? Airbags deploy? Are parts really that unobtainable? This is scarey.

These cars have/hold NO value what so ever in any area except repair costs(which are high).

THAT is totaled??....I get more and more paranoid about driving this car everyday. One day, I'm gonna get a door ding or bird droppings on it and it will be declared a total loss by my insurance company. Sorry to hear this.

They don't care about "blue book" and you also need to factor in vehicles mileage and condition as well. Insurance go by TMV or "true market value" which is usually lower than blue book. Paint and bodywork is quite expensive and when parts are scarce that makes totalling a car that much easier because they also factor in how long they(insurance) are gonna have to pay for you to be driving a rental car while your car is in the shop.

Yup, my Insurance company quoted a $10,000 repair bill before even popping the hood. Said that the headlights and bumper are so scarce that it would probably be August before I was driving again. As for the other Questions, I'm getting $14,900 for it and as you can see they are letting me strip it. I'm not getting a SRT, I'm running from the Crossfire crowd/site because I'm sick of hard to tune engines and more sick of tools like billvp.

haha, yeah ok , well the Crossfire forum will be better off without you - go buy a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_(automobile) car, think about upgrading it, and justify to yourself slapping another ///AMG sticker on it
