Default Is XM Radio worth it????

I live in Miami and we have alot of diverse radio stations here. Im 23 so I listen to Hip Hop, Dance, Alternative Rock for the most part. We have plenty of stations with these kinds of music. I love 80's dance and disco. We don't have Disco and 80's dance stations here but I have plenty of CD's that I downloaded(shhh). Im big on downloading albums and music, so I have a sh!tload of CDs. If you were in my shoes would XM Radio be worth it?

Thanks

I have XM in my Xfire right now, I've had Sirius in my Mercedes previously. I like Sirius more, no commercials. I advise you to get a head unit compatible with digital radio and not run it through the factory stereo, it deteriorates the sound quality.

I just installed a new Delphi XM Ski Fi cradle, FM modulator, and antenna in my xfire so I can move the tuner from my Jeep to the Xfire. Used a profit mount and it works great. If you spend any amount of time in rush hour traffic xm is a necessity. It is also great for long trips.

Just had the XM Commander installed the night before last. They had a bracket the allowed it to be mounted right above the center vents. Worked out great. Now I have everything I need for my trips to WV, a good woman to my right, an awsome car getting us there in record time, and good music the whole way

I have Sirius in my PT Cruiser and Crossfire. It's all I listen to. I don't even use the CD player.

Went to Audio Tunes today. Looks like the bracket they used is a custom job. Made by some plastic, heat shrink and some ingenuity. Spoke with the manager there. They would be willing to make more of the brackets used for my XM Commander. He described the installation as this; the lower part of the bracket, which is about as wide as the XM Commander is wedged (the console is lifted, and then this bracket is placed in between the console and center vents).

If there is interest in having these made, let me know, I will ask them to make one and I'll take pictures of it. He said they could make and sell them for $20. That and shipping and I could send them to you.
