CodyM... Crossfire assembly content
Just moving this discussion out of the other thread....
Cody,
I just found this window sticker in the images.... you can clearly see that it says US/Canadian content is 6%(edit: maybe that is a 0%) and German content is 80%... assembled in Germany, engine from Germany and transmission from Germany....
I have taken LOTS of parts off my cars and they are all MB parts.....

I've pretty much taken the entire car apart and everything has had a MB part number on it. I haven't found a part yet that does not have a MB part number on it.
when i took my exhaust off to put the aftermarket on, the rubber loops that hold the exhaust say AMG on them, needless to say i kept them for that very reason
Cody, read up on your car, look it up on the internet, look in all the threads, do a search feature, before going on about what your car has that it DOES NOT, this really is a Mercedes Benz product with just a Chrysler Bagde.
ok i did do research on the internet i already showed my references in the other thread. i bought my 04 limited used from a non chrysler dealrship so it didn't have a sticker on the window. all the sites i been to have said 60% american 40% mercedes. is it really necessary to call me out on this on another thread?

all i was doing was stating what i researched. i dislike most modern american cars now and days. the more german in this car the better in my opinion. i didn't think this would get turned into its own thread. so for those of you on the edge of your seat about this you can relax.
whats funny though is that an american and a brit designed this car and according to top gear "this car looks like a dog taking a number 2" but one of their own helped designed this car lol
