Help what year slk platform are our X-F based on
I just ordered a tie rod assembly on line for a 2004 slk 320 and now I am not sure if our car is based on a 2003 or 2004? I see that the supplier has 2 different part # This is a cross border purchase so it is a hassle to exchange

Thank you for the reply,
I had to get the complete assembly which includes which includes both left & right inner & outer tie rods as well as the center link. I found them on Bimmer specialist.com The picture they have is tiny so you can not really see what their item looks like, but they say it fits a 2004 slk 320.

Just checked that site - 2003 & 2004 call for the same part # 1704630115 for the assembly

Ok, Some how when I checked I came up with two different numbers?
