New guy from Arkansas
Hi guys I'm from Searcy Arkansas any body else from around here? I bought an 04 Black Crossfire Coupe last year it's got the 6 speed manual it only had 33,000 mi on it when I got it, it's at 49000 now. I love this car the previous owner kept it in pristine condition it's hard to keep clean in rural Ar. I've washed this car more in the 10 months I've had it than my previous car in the 5 years I had it. How can you not it's a beautiful car? Looks like a great forum. I will post pics soon.

Thanks for the welcomes. Are there any Crossfire get togethers in this area? Any place I can legally explore the top end speed of my car? I've had mine up to 155 in an undisclosed location before I had to slow down for certain environmental reasons. I know the speedo goes to 160 but does anyone know what top end speeds they are capable of?
AlabasterGT: Wasn't me. At 1:50 p.m., I would have been at work. I know of one Aero Blue Xfire in Ft Smith. There was a black one on Craigslist for sale.
I saw a black one near Clinton, Ark. on Hwy 65.

Glad ya found us here on the forum
You will find out most everything you need to know about that fine little car right here.
Continue to enjoy.
Heck you can make a meet happen by just getting others in your area to hook up.
Post up a place and time...do some lunch and a cruise afterwords.
A bunch of Crossfires together is a beautiful sight.
I invite you to come join us all at the 4th Annual Fall 2010 - Tail of the Dragon GTG - Oct. 1, 2, 3
57 Crossfires at the Fall 2009 "Tail of the Dragon" GTG in NC
57 Crossfires at Fontana Dam - Wet but wonderful time regardless
Welcome Deputy. Funny how Searcy is the 10th largest town in Arkansas and so few people have ever heard of it
I used to live there many years ago and worked at Central Arkansas General Hospital as an OR scrub tech. I really miss the wide open spaces (for spirited accelaeration runs
) and the georgeous countryside. I had an 89 Mitsubishi Starion Turbo at the time and 142 was all I could get out of it
Let us know eventually how fast you can go in the Crossfire

Welcome! I'm in south AR(El Dorado). I bought a car in Searcy about a year or so ago
. There is white limited here that I've never been able to catch up with. Funny, never saw a local Crossfire until we bought ours. Enjoy the car!!!

Well, welcome.
But........
Uh,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Please don't read my thread about my last trip through your part o' the country.
It was fiction, I swear. Not a word of it is true.
It wasn't me. I was never there, see?

Welcome Deputy, I live in Western Oklahoma. Maybe you can a plan a GTG for our area maybe in Oklahoma City. There are several Xfires in the city. I'm sorry you couldn't find a Red One
Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the reception. I think I should clear up my nickname. Deputy is a nickname my best friend in college gave me because I used to read a lot of Louis L'Amour books and I was an armed security guard at the time I'm not affiliated with law enforcement. The ave at the end is short for Avery my first name most people call me Ave or deputy so I just put the 2 together. I'm actually a civilian aircraft mechanic working for the Army. Didn't mean to make you nervous Franc
