Default Anyone Atteneded "The Art of Driving?"

Hey there. Was wondering if anyone had gone to Chrysler's Art of Driving event and if so, how it was, what to expect, etc. I'm going April 4th and I believe I will be driving the crossfire roadster. If anyone has any feedback, good or bad on these events, I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

I went last year, when the Crossfire was just hitting the market. Had my first test drive on an autocross course they set up in the parking lot of the Rose Bowl. The course was so tight I never exceeded 40 mph and it was hand-over-hand all the way. It was all over in 30 seconds... If you're interested in a real test drive, you should do it at the dealer. But it was still a lot of fun, they had wine and cheese tasting, back massages, cigars, a brief history of Chrysler exhibit, etc. Plus it's a great chance to drive chryslers back-to-back-with competitive cars. Along with the XF they had a Boxter, a TT, and a G35 you could drive. This year I think you can drive the 300C. It's a lot of entertainment for free.

Creator - thanks. Ya, I'm going to the one at the rose bowl in a couple of weeks. Was all the wine tasting, back massages, etc. free too? No need to take a test drive at the dealer cause I already have the car. Should be interesting to see what competitor cars they have this year, especially since they seem to be letting us drive the convertibles. I can't wait. Can't beat the price.

I'm pretty sure it's all free as long as you're registered in advance. I think you can register at www.chrysler.com. They'll ask you for name and driver's license # at the gate. Your name should be on the list.

Thanks Creator. Ya, i'm on the list already, just wasn't sure if they then try to charge you for things once you are inside, like massages, wine tasting, etc. Should be fun. Could definitely use the massage.

I might be motivated to drive out there for it.

See you there!
