Default Hey Ladies...

Seems like the women of this forum have been taking a little crap lately for being... women. VegasCrossfire - I'm behind you - change those rules all you want! :P

So, out of curiosity, I was wondering how many female xfire owners there were out there. Or, at least, how many of us are willing to admit it?

And, yes AZ, I'm blonde too!

So give it up ladies - where are ya?

Lady? Some people, mainly the engineers I work with, might beg to differ.
The "B" word comes to mind for some of them I'm sure.

But for this topic, yes I'm a lady, I change my mind a lot, I mother and worry about everyone. Co-workers usually call me "Mom". But I hate to shop, high heels make my head spin and I've never worn makeup well. I would rather be in the hills, at the ocean, in the desert or fishing by a stream than in a mall. So I am a female but not a lady of the typical sense. My boyfriend doesn't complain. :P

I'm not quite a Crossfire owner yet......19 more days.

And for the last 11 years or so I've been a red-head. It changes slightly every six weeks or so.

as long as I don't have to wear dresses and stop cursing, you can count me in as a "lady"

8) Figured I'd better add a post in here so I will be counted as a lady Crossfire Owner!!! (And the proud owner of the mats giveaway)  (Just had to get that in one more time)

I am more than willing to admit that I am a lady. I don't like wearing high heels either - but I do wear them when necessary. Shopping Malls - I avoid whenever possible. I live in the desert - so the Ocean looks pretty good to me - especially from a cruise ship!!

I had fun changing the rules - glad I wasn't "banned" for doing so.

And ... yes - I am a blond. Have been my whole life.

And guess what - I love those smilies  8) I smile as much as I possibly can - life is way to short to frown or be hateful - especially on a forum full of wonderful people!

Fellow CF owners ~~ A woman checkin in here,,,a CF owner just a month, but she's a keeper, I just got my first radar detector ever in my life,,,wanna know where the bogies are.

Other than that I am not a slave to face paint either, I'm not the type to faint when the villian gets close,,,rather a femme fatale who would rather go with Dick Tracy into the dark alley to investigate.

I have a dayjob that pays the mortgage but in the evenings I teach fitness classes like kickboxing and BodyPUMP, which rocks. Anybody in the northern Cali area who wants be be a guest is welcome to come take my class. You would LOVE it

well, i'll add one for the women on this forum...although i thought it was pretty obvious by the tone and replies to some of our posts, that we were, in fact, females.

anyway, like most of you, i'm the no-frills, no face paint, no heels type (unless it's a formal fundraiser i'm proud to support...which requires a gown...well, you know those types of functions).

anyway, count me in among all of you (as another woman who has great taste in cars...we know what we like). take care, bonster

(alabaster auto-stick, no, i'm not a blonde...very dark brunette)

One more of the female persuassion checking in with all of you. I got my Crossfire last July. It was pretty lonely on the roads and just now am beginning to see some others. I'm probably one of the oldest "ladies" on the forum. In June I finally become a Grandmother. Can hardly wait until little Kacy is big enough to go cruising around with me. I also have a 1960 Austin Healey BN7. I never thought I'd love a car more than the Healey, but the Crossfire may be edging it out. So here's to many hours of happy motoring! Am enjoying everyone's posts.

Hi Nikki, another Austin Healey enthusiast. I once owned a 1959 "Bugeye" Sprite. My wife and I and our two kids used to pile into it (and I do mean pile) and go to Virginia Beach for the day. Beautiful car, candy apple red and like the Crossfire a real eye-catcher. It's nice sharing this forum with all of you lady Crossfire owners.

Well, we have quite a few more ladies drivin than I thought.

Looks like I'm the only one with a high heel fetish - screw the face paint - but the shoes are definitely right up my alley. Which is why I should win the next floor mat giveaway - amazing how a good pair of heels will wear down the mats (and make it ten times difficult to get in and out of the car).

 Excuse me - wearing a dress, heels and make up is NOT part of the definition of the word Lady!!

And since I AM a LADY - I will not tell you what I really think of you.

Hey Ladies!

Glad to be part of the club, even if we have to allow the boys in the clubhouse, too.

I have to admit the car is almost as much of a guy-magnet as a pair of red stillettos...too fun.
