What do you guys think about people that throw you the finger. Would you be real upset if you received one? After getting the finger what can you do to **** them off and make them more angry. I know this is off topic... sorry. I got a couple today! Lots of anger on the road today!

 

you know, it always makes my day when someone tells me I am number 1....I just smile and wave, and that my friend is Priceless....that is how you get even....when they know, they DIDN'T **** you off...try it....

 

Ok, one finger could just be someone having a bad day. But, if you got two in the same trip..... What the hell were you doing????? I doubt that the highway was inundated with finger happy drivers that were indiscriminately choosing you to show their warmest regards. Instead of wondering what you can do to further **** them off, maybe you need to focus on your driving habits.

 

I can't help but think of one of the opening scenes in the Beverly Hillbilly's movie. I think that kinda puts it in perspective especially when the guy pulls out a hand gun and Jed shows him his shot gun. Let them go on their way.

 

I got it multiple times from the guy. Then he gave me 2 at the same time. I guess his hand was not on the steering wheel.

 

Either that or he's got three hands. What do you think caused this reaction?

 

To be fair, it would appear to normal people that you pi$$ed him off somehow. What it was is only for you to decide, or perhaps he has different perspectives on how things should be in his world, and you, and others don't simply match that view.

Alternately, he could have been deaf, as in hearing deprived, and he was merely doubly and repeatably, with great enthusiasm, expressing how much he liked you, and was inviting you to an event of which he hoped you would understand what he was trying to say and return the favor by expressing your pleasure in also attending. One never knows for sure, so be kind and give him the benefit of the doubt.

I haven't seen the "finger" yet while driving my Crossfire. Usually looks of "shock and awe".

 

Got the finger from a girl the other day who tried to cut me off. I sat in the car at the next stoplight and laughed while she flipped me off again, she started honking and I laughed harder, that really pissed her off LOL

Never received the one finger salute. I do however, get a lot of "thumbs up". Still one digit. Most people like the car. Gary.

 

These days lots of people are under stress and while they sit in their cars wondering where the next payment for it, the house, the utility bills etc is coming from, they boil up at the smallest personal slight they imagine just happened.
So give them a break, don't react, follow them and when they leave their car shove a potato up their exhaust pipe.

 

Do you think that it was an invitation and she was mad because you turned her down?

 

I drive pretty aggressive and can see where folks might be upset cuz my car is better than theirs and in turn may have given me the salute.
I don't do the salute thingy. Not my style. But there have been a few occasions in my pre-crossfire days where folks were REALLY mad and little ol me and upon receiving the salute from them I simply blew kisses back to them.
Every time the receiver of the kisses was dumbfounded and seemed to forget what they were mad about.

 

Now there's a man who is secure in his masculinity(I assume you blew kisses to the men too) lol; and great way to diffuse the situation.

I agree, it always angers them more when you smile and wave, or blow kisses or give the good 'ol thumbs up!
When they can't get under your skin they simply get beside themself!

Anyone crazy enough to flip me the bird for no reason is crazy enough for me to get away from -- hit the accelerator and be gone. Who knows if they will take a swerve at the baby. And if I did something to **** them off, like blow them off a a light, even more reason to keep going. Jerks are jerks and I don't want them in proximity of my XFs.

 

If you really are in the mood to make them even more angy try this: Hold your hand in a cupped poistion as if your are holding his head and then move your hand up and down over your lap. Do this just high enough to that they can see you do this through your window. This will get them mad for sure, just hope he doesn't have a gun.
