Default Brake pads and interior pant question

Time for new pads, what type of pad should I go with? Anyone recomend any thing? Also, the paint on the interior console and glove compartment is coming off very easily with the slightest of touch. Anyone else experienced this? What can I do to restore?

Get the first ones on the list...

VERY little dust and very good stopping power.

I recently bought the Hawk HPS from Tirerack for I think $60 / set
I'm really happy with them, they leave no brake dust and the stopping power seems greater than stock.

Do a search on the pads, there are hundreds of posts so stick to the recent ones.

The interior finish has been a problem and there is a recent post on it too.
See this for paint inside the car.

I got a set of Rotex Golds (front & rear) off ebay earlier this year for around $100. Very happy with the performance and no dust at all.

Don't think you can go wrong with Akebono, Hawk or Rotex.
