I'd love to get the performance summer tires, but I drive in snow maybe 5 times of the year (and a lot of rain), so I don't know if it would be a good idea to go with performance tires.

Anyone have an opinion on my predicament?

It seems like this poll question has already been posted a while back but here goes anyway. I choose the performance because they were less expensive and better grip on a pretty day. Mine is a weekend toy and I keep it clean by staying out of the rain and bad weather. If you drive in any snow like James, maybe you should opt for the all weather tires.

By the way, C'mon James, get a Crossfire so you can get those RSX photos out of your album and post the real deal Also, why did you gut your interior of the RSX like that? Do you plan to gut a Crossfire like that? Crossfire's are plenty quiet of road noise stock 8)

Hey Danwell, if you want to give me a couple thousand then I'll pick one up next month. As a student I can't afford everything right off the bat.

And I've testdriven a Crossfire. It was so quiet when I turned the key that I didn't even know that it came on except for the tach running up to a couple hundred RPMs :-P. No, I will not be gutting a Crossfire if I get one (I'm still trying to decide between the Crossfire, Z4 3.0i, or the Infiniti G35). Yesterday I was just quoted a monthly lease price of $47.00 for an SLK 32AMG for 36 months, though. I guess they like my credit. I prefer to OWN a car, though. I'm not big on leasing.

Although, gutting my RSX was the most fun I've ever had with my car.

I realize that, just thought it was strange to see a RSX in a Crossfire forum album.

I think the Z4 is okay but Im not into the funky creased metal at the front of the doors. The Infinity is also okay but Im tired of jap stuff but to each his own. I guess my eyes are spoiled since having a Crossfire 8)

47 bucks a month to lease a SLK32 AMG?, thats gotta be a typo? Damn, even at $470.00 a month, its a killer deal for the AMG version of the SLK. Still love the Crossfire though

Im not into leasing either. I like to feel like I own the car instead of borrowing the car....... I know someone will say "well if you financed it then its borrowed" but I still perfer financing to leasing and I WILL have the title.

I gotta admit, you put alot of effort in damping the sound in the RSX. Its amazing what some people do to improve their car. I would have never dreamed people do things like that but hey, you got guts and imagination and im sure it was quieter afterwards.
