Quick tire question, Please help ASAP!!!
I just got a really good deal on a 255/50/19 tire and bought it. I just dropped the car to a tire shop to get them mounted. I know I have dropped my car 2" before and drove around without any rubbing issues and I think 255/50/19 isnt more than 2" taller than the 255/35/19s.
Please answer me if 255/50/19 will fit OK enough to get me through the winter.
Thanks.

255/35-19 has an overall diameter of 26".
255/50-19 has an overall diameter of 29.1".
These are specs I grabbed from tirerack from the Blizzak LM-60 spec sheet.

This site has a graet tire size differentiation calculator.
As per this site: Tire size calculator
Using the sizes you posted: The speedometer will read 60MPH when you are actually travelling 66.9MPH
11.6% too slow.
Also, would a large variation between the front and rear tire sizes cause issues with the BAS/EAS system?

Welp. 275/45/19's don't work nether. Anyways while sit'n in the wait'n room a guy ask me how I liked my car Turns out he has White roadster 6 speed sit'n in his garage. Later as I'm walk'n in to a store for something else a guy pulls up and asks how do I like my car. HE has a Blaze Red 6 speed set'n in his garage! I thins dat all the Crossfire 6 speeds are be'n held hostage in garages in central Ohio!
