So your current rear tyres are Michelin 2nd Generation Pilot Sport Ultra-high Performance 255/35ZR19 right?

If you want to put the same back on they'll cost you - I paid $970 for two of them fitted from St. George Tyres 204 Princes Hwy ARNCLIFFE NSW 2205 email: info@stgeorgetyres.com.au or Phone: (02) 9567 4999 - they were by far the cheapest I could find (maybe things have improved with the A$ improving against the US$). The Michelin Pilot Sports are great tyres and I've found they perform and wear well

I suggest you give those guys a ring and see what they can offer - I notice they have some Falken FK452's @ 2 X 255-35-19 FALKEN FK452 FLAGSHIP NEW TYRES! BMW M3 (eBay item 230548553884 end time 19-Nov-10 15:36:08 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats for $620 for a pair

If you're looking for something different theres plenty of tyre threads on here @ Wheels, Brakes, Tires and Suspension - these Hankooks are getting great reviews @ https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-evo-k110.html

and yes I know I have to get into gear and organise another cruise soon - hope you got out this weekend - the weather was sensational!

Hey there champ, good to hear from you again hope all is well your way. I just got back about 2 weeks ago from over seas I was gone for 2 months.
I managed to get out this weekend as the weather was great had the roof off all weekend.

Thanks for the heads up on the tyres mate, ill go check them out now. The tyres I have on the beast at the moment Im not really happy with them at all I was a little disapointed with the traction and wearing...I have Mich's pilot sports as you said so I was looking at maybe sometihng different b ut didnt want to take the chance of replacing them with sometihng worse hehe.
Anyway I will check them out, I just thought Id post an add to see what sort of information I got back...cheers mate.

And yes it would be good to have another drive day sometime while the weather is good.

Oh and do you have the guys email address that I sent to you ages ago that drove the other blue crossfire ? I think I sent it to you a while ago..

Scotty

Wow, in the US you can get an entire set (4) of Achilles ATR Sports from Tireseasy.com delivered for less than $500. 400 AA A W rated.

The even scarier thing is that the A$ is now virtually the same value as the US$ so the comparison on pricing is now 1:1
We pay way too much for cars and tyres in Australia - guess thats the issue of a market for 21m people versus the US and your 307m
I like to browse Tirerack.com and dream - but the freight costs are a killer

Yeah I think your right we do pay way to much for things in Australia....its interesting that the pricing is that much different to the US.
I guess thats the price we all pay for driving such rare and Elite sports cars such as the Crossfires.

Oh well looks like im just guna have to fork out around the $400 mark each...
