While there are a few forum members that have done it, there are a few that will also tell you it led to catastrophic accidents with their cars. More than one XFire with 20" wheels has ended up totalled due to some strange failure.
One of these accidents is being discussed here now. Boiler had his end up upside down in a creek. While he can't say for sure it was the wheel, he also has stated he will never do 20's again.

Rfors is right about the 20's potentially causing issues, though. I decided to just go 19s all around and I like how it looks.
ot but i see your in nashville. maybe you can cruise to the boro and meet some other xfire guys. we spend many a weekend wrenching in my garage. jhm2k, 13dog, goodgenes all stop by
I suggest you stay with the factory size for many reasons.
1. Some members that have done this complain of steering issues.
2. You run the risk of throwing off the speedometer.
3. Higher cost in tire replacement.
4. Possibility of losing a couple MPG.

a 19/20 combo or even an 18/20 combo is what I am after.
I have stated that I will never do another 20" - ON THE FRONT. Out back with the right rubber, I would not hesitate to do a 20" rim, but with the tolerences on the front wheel being so much tighter, and wanting to retain the factory 'raked' appearence, I am shopping for a 19/20 setup right now, but not too many wheels out there I like that have both 19 and 20 available.

Oh, and I will be going 18 in the front with 20 in the rear.
As a long distance accident investigator who was never on the scene, but did interview the victim, all I can say is this.....I believe John suffered a right front flat tire, given the rim size, and the conditions, it wouldn't let him steer to the left to get control...thus the trip into the creek...I could be wrong...but not thinking so....got to be able to steer fella's....good luck...
