Default '08 Coupe

Well, I traded my '04 for an '08. It had only 6K miles and is under warranty through June, 2012.

Yesterday, I took a look under the rear deck and noted a recessed area on the right side. My '04 had a set of jumper cables, but this does not.

Can anyone tell me what that area is for? Has someone ripped off my jumper cables or don't the '08's have them.

I sure miss having a spare tire!

Don

This is a joke right?
What car comes with jumper cables except maybe the Yugo? (that's a joke)

Don don't get offended by 180. He's been kicked out of America for his sarcasm and now resides in Canada. Where he doesn't see anybody for many many months due to the massive amount of snow they receive every year.

As far as answering your question. I would guess you didn't buy your 2004 new. The crossfire never came with jumper cables from the factory. In some countries... like Canada, you'll find a small first aid kit. This is due to the fact their oppressive governments mandate it.

You're correct; I didn't buy my '04 new. And yes, it did indeed have a set of jumper cables, contrary to the opinion of some on this forum.

Notwithstanding the sarcasm, I did get my question answered.

Thanks.

Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't implying they weren't there. Just put in there by the previous owner before you got her.

I think most 2 seater sports cars don't have spares nowadays.

You got it all wrong.....He was originally transplanted from the U.K.
When we kick someone out of Canada..... they get shipped to the U.S.

You know from Dave's perspective the US and Canada are still just colonies.
