Default So I picked up an N/A

i have been bringing it back to life over the past few weeks, it is coming along great and so far i am very happy with it. i rescued it from someone that didnt take any care of it, he claimed to be a mechanic but the idiotic stuff i have been fixing is unreal!

so far i have replaced...
rotors and pads
both front window regulators (windows would not go up when i got it and it was being snowed in)
both window switches, mirror switch, put a shift **** back onto it
somewhat repaired the interior door panel, i'll be junk yard picking another soon as the dealer wants $1300 for it
replaced all idlers, belt and p/s reservoir
added an oil cap (yes it came with no oil cap, who sells a car without an oil cap! it was 2 qts low when i test drove it)
ball joints and tie rods all the way around (what a PITA that was!)
fixed the hack job they did on the exhaust
douched the interior 3 times now
buffed out the headlight lenses, added headlight and bright bulbs (yes it had none in there, wtf!)
brought the inoperable radio back to life
oil change/flush
transmission service
mounted the center counsil back down
valve cover breathers
fixed 3 check engine lights, still have 1 more egr cel to tackle
replaced horns

it is dark red with black interior, automatic trans, has a power moon roof that i havent dared to try and open yet

i still have a broken front grill and drivers mirror cover to replace, will it ever end, lol.

Looks like that oil and filter have been there for quite a while.

You are doing what I love to do. Restore machines. My Crossfires need no restoration, and never will in my life. No fun. This Mercedes did. Took me six months with paint and all. Sold it, a gas guzzling overweight 5000# pig. Gary

Hi Rob
Looks like the engine cover needs a little trimming around the upper radiator hose
Any mods ? current and future?

If this is the vehicle that I had a ride in... It is still very nice. A few broken switches and options but the heat from the vent worked good!
