Default Good Cruise Control

I've rented 100's of cars and the cruise system on the XF is one of the better ones.
1. Unlike a lot of cars, you don't have a power button to push first.
2. The 4-way lever is positioned perfectly (imo) and is easier to work than most steering wheel controls (again imo) though at first, I would set it when making left-hand turns.

Perhaps it makes up for a lousy wiper delay system.

It's used constantly to save gas and avoid tickets.

I agree.... I use mine often and it is so easy to just hit it with a finger to speed up or slow down to adjust to traffic....

and I very rarely use it for a turn signal anymore......

Thank Mercedes for this system. It is standard Mercedes design. Now if they could have gotten a cup holder as good.

I love it as well. lways appreeciated this MB system from way back in '86 on my diesel Benz.

My only issue is it's proximity to the turn signal wand.

Us old guys get confused easily.

That is funny and true! I bought mine new in 2005 and it took me a while to get used to the position of the signal.

So am I!

The turn signal sits just a little to low.

Texans should appreciate this system more as the troopers here are very sneeky and plentyful. I'll set it for 75mph between Houston and San Antonio and the cops are happy. 78 will get you a ticket.
