Having been in the autobody business for years, I've seen a lot of wrecked cars. I've seen quite a few where it seemed it would have been impossible for anyone to survive and been surprised to learned the occupants did survive, and, in some cases, walked away with only minor injuries. Cars today are very well engineered to protect the occupants and they do a damn good job!
