All u have to do is change the electronic part of ur oem TB and xfer it to this one. Simple remove the clips and change them and u need a t-40 socket to unbolt the 4 bolts on the TB. Don't miss out on an easy 7hp for little money. This item will fit your 2006 limited n/a...

Get yours now!!! B4 there gone
Yes, I ordered one yesterday, waiting for it to come in. Hope I have time to get it on before our Eurocharged Performance DYNO Day in Feb. Have so many things to do. Found an oil leak on the Valve cover- cover. Just came in from cleaning all the parts, so I can install in the morning. hope this fixes it. May have to do the other side too.
I'm hoping this 74mm TB will add about 7-8 HP, this with the tune should put me at about 245 HP, not at Rear Wheels, but Gross HP. Hoping rear wheel will be about 200Hp. I may be to optomistic???

These are so cheap, if these are identical to the SRT-6 TB, I wonder if I could buy one of these and bore it out an extra few mm... ala maxbore.com.
Ack, I just cant let this go!

just got my 74mm TB today. The TB is:
MB # 113 141 00 25, Bosch # 0 205 003 048 I was told all I needed to do was change the electrical connector by removing the clips from the black plastic molded connector and removing the OEM connector currently on the car TB and putting it on the "new TB". I have not taken the OEM unit off yet, but do the parts actually interchange. The casing of the 0025 part is round, is the OEM round as well. It looks like the OEM TB has a black plastic cover over the end of it ,this is where the P/N tag is located. The "newTB" has a metal cover with crimped tabs all the way around to keep it on. Does everything in side that housing have to be changed? The "new TB also has written in yellow paint " S500 '06 the 06 could be an '00. I don't want to rip this thing apart if this is not the correct part. How much of this has to be changed. I read somewhere there was a difference in the vacuum connection as well. I don't want to start cutting this thing up at this point. Has anyone done this yet with this part?

It may all be just me. As soon as it warms up a little I'll try and get the OEM off and compare them and see if my electronics can be exchanged with the " new TB". I'll let you know what I find, I'm sure it will be a few days from now before I know. Supposed to be 17degrees F by AM.

The 74mm TB has arrived, I'm waiting for weather to warm up a little before attempting the install. On the newTB ending in 0025, will the connector on the OEM TB transfer to the new TB? The connectors are different shape, The OEM is rectangular and the 0025 TB is round. Having not taken either of these apart yet, when you say swap the electronics from one to the other, what does that mean? The connectors hook to something in the TB. Do these just come apart. I don't know what is under the covers on either device, is everything the same except the connector?
Please give some feedback if you know or don't know either way. I'm not wanting you to fix it for me, just want to pick your brain. I don't want to mess up the OEM TB and mess up the NewTB0025 and end up with two broken TBs and a car that can't drive.

Hey guys,
Anyone with an N/A actually have the new TB in their car?
I have a Black '05 N/A and was told that upgrading only the TB might make my car feel sluggish off the start.
Anyone experiencing this issue?
Regards,
Eric

Did you have to switch the electrical parts out from one TB to the other? what did that entail if you did that change?
did you do the Throttle position reset?

You have to take out the electronics and switch them with your OEM electronics.
Someone ought to do a 'how to' on this.
I read several that say it fits, but I'm worried about the connector swap, I may see that it fits great after I get it off. I would like to know what is the " electronics". It it everything in the TB housing or just the connector, or???

Those silver clips come off and the guts of it are switched over.
