soon will be AMSOIL dealer!
Hi All,
Hope you will welcome this thread!
I decided to become an Amsoil Dealer.
I have been using their products for a while now and I have been always impressed!
First time was for my Buell 03 XB9S, back in 05
Then for my Buell 1125r since 2009
and for the past year for my cute XF since 2010
Why becoming and AMSOIL dealer?
I love to take care of my machines, they are loyal"" to me, in return at least I can provide them the highest quality fluids that they need for a long long ride...
Stupid or not, but Having the XF and Buell is for me a little dream that I realised.
I have spent so many years to find the right car and now I have it with modesty.
I hope many of You will share my ideas about XF , Buell and the idea to provide the best for these little monsters that we love.
I will always do my best to provide you the best prices and services.
Max

I have been using Amsoil in most of my motors. I use the "Dominator" Racing Oil in my boys KTM race bikes, the "Sabre" Synthetic outboard oil in the old '84 Johnson and have used their syncro oil in the TSX 6 speed tranny. Always with great results.
Here's a related story about the 1984 25HP Johnson outboard:
A couple years ago it started running a little rough, wouldnt' troll down real slow (for walleye fishing) without getting a misfire in one of the two cylinders, would stall out, smoked like a Bast#@d and would leave a noticeable oily/gasy slick in its wake while trolling. Ran fine wide open.
I changed the plugs several times but one plug would continue to fowl and the engine would misfire.
So I proceeded to drop it off at a local, very reputable marine mechanic and he started asking questions about the symptoms. He then asked what kind of two stroke oil do I use and at what ratio do I mix it? Told him I only use the oil recommended and branded by the motor manufacturer (OMC) and mixed it at 50:1 as per their manual. He then said "Go get some good quality, fully synthetic outboard oil, like Amsoil and mix it half the amount of oil at 100:1
If that doesn't cure it then he said you'll have to bring it back and I'll have to tear it apart.
Guess what........I've never seen him again and the boat has never run better. No more misfire, no stalling, no more smoke, no more oil slick. MUCH better for the environment too.
I am a AMSOIL believer.
Steve

TO SPARKIE and All,
Nice story.... thanks for sharing..
You got my thoughts...
Using high quality oil is in a certain way helping us.
Back in the days, I could not get it when People were not using synthetic. It saves your engine, less trouble, saves money and time...
So no when you use the right stuff, less toxic emission, cleaner fumes and the ride will last longer. So All these together are a good step for a better air quality. Like anything, chain reaction is always involved.
...........No SNOW! Damn we were ready to play!

Always a good thing to know more about Amsoil. Cool stories... I think

As a jet fighter squadron commander LIEUTENANT COLONEL ALBERT J. AMATUZIO had ample opportunity to witness synthetic lubricants in action. These oils are used exclusively in jet engines because of three extraordinary performance characteristics: an ability to reduce friction and wear on engine components, an ability to function dependably at severe temperature extremes and an ability to withstand rigorous and lengthy engine operation without chemical breakdown.
Recognizing that these same benefits would prove invaluable in combustion engines, Al Amatuzio formulated the first synthetic motor oil in the world to meet API service requirements for automobile engines. The new lubricant performed like no other before it. When the first can of AMSOIL 10W-40 appeared on the market in 1972, it signaled the birth of an entire industry. AMSOIL synthetic lubricants have expanded the boundaries of lubrication science and redefined the performance possibilities of modern machinery and engines.
AMSOIL INC. was founded on Al Amatuzio’s desire for technical innovation, his commitment to high quality and his belief that consumers would respond to a superior product. The company has remained true to these ideals; its history is a checklist of revolutionary products that have withstood the tests of time. As the pioneer corporation in the field of synthetic lubrication, AMSOIL sees its Commitment to Excellence as a historical responsibility, and A.J. Amatuzio’s energy and vision continue to drive the company forward. ...inspired by aerospace technology
