This has to be some sort of record??...
"232,000 MILES"! That's amazing but I'm not surprised. These cars are in it for the long haul.
Good proof that you'll get tired of your Crossfire before it tires on you.

Holy cow! Not sure anyone here has ever come out with post-200K, and only a few with over 100K.
I wonder how much TLC the car required to get there - besides the known issues, our cars seem pretty damn reliable, so I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is "not much."

I have the exact same car with 66000 miles currently in Aurora, Ill.
I am also currently the president of www.CrossfireInternational.com the official Crossfire International Car Club.
I'd love to hear more about the history of your Crossfire.
How it was driven to get so many miles on it.
Feel free to reply to me if you will.
Thanks, Gary

Hopefully this guy gets back to us!!!
And the asking price ($6,500) correctly reflects the mileage. Not bad for what looks like a serviceable car.
I wonder how much of the bolt on stuff (alternator, A/C compressor, water pump, etc.) has been replaced?

Looks like two records to me. Mileage and price for a clean running car. it would be a good candidate for an engine swap even thought the engine in it is probably good for another 100K miles. You could buy this and pick up another V6 for $800-$1500. Not sure how long the transmission is good for.
This gives me renewed hope that with regular maintenance and TLC, my Crossies will outlast me. What a great price for a "spare". If only it was a manual. And if it spent it's life in NE Philadelphia, a lot of those miles had to be "hard".

If it's a typo, why would the car be over $2000 under the generally accepted going price for a coupe in good shape?
I suspect it's for real for that reason alone.

you know, I have never worried much about mileage. Having trucked for as many years and driving patrol cars into the 100K range, I just don't worry about. I have put a million miles a tractor/trailer. We use to run our patrol cars to just over a 100k, with a lot of idle time hours. If you service your car, do the required maintenance when needed, it will last longer than the body in most cases.
And 35k per year sounds like a lot of highway driving. And those miles aren't that hard on a car's powertrain.
Might have been a "company" car for owner, so regular service was most likely always done. I agree with this being a great 2nd or 3rd XFire in someone's stable.
A few years back, I looked at a 2004 Ford F150 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4 that had nearly 125k showing. Turns out the previous owner used it as his business vehicle. He owned a construction firm and was on the road every week. Truck was immaculate and showed like "showroom" condition. Had every option available back then. I learned that he had the truck washed & fully detailed every weekend when he returned home. I should have bought it because it was priced right for the mileage.
There are still owners out there that take care of their vehicles!

I bought a Tahoe w/ 107K on it. 1999, not a scratch on it. Runs great. I have about 7K in it. She likes the gas, but nice back up vehicle to have around, and it pulls the car trailer. Bought it from a retired oil company owner. His personal vehicle, always garaged, and always serviced every 3k miles. It's been a blessing with all this snow this year.
