Default leak from front grill - help

Hi All -

I noticed a leak coming from the front grill (the part where you cannot see through the holes in the plastic), just next to the right fog light (passenger) on my crossfire this evening.[/font]
It looks like water as it doesnt feel or smell like oil or petrol. Does anyone know what this could be?

Could it be windshield wiper fluid? I know the guy that I bought my Crossfire from refilled the wiper fluid right before I left his place and he spilled it everywhere. Fast forward a few cold winter days and I noticed something leaking from the passenger side. Sure enough, the fluid he spilled had frozen and then began to melt, creating a slow drip.

Trying to remember whats on the right side??? I believe the washer fill and fluid fill are on the other side. I know the power steering coolant lines run through that area but that should be a red colored fluid. I would suggest starting the car, take a flashlight and do some detective work. Is there any fluid in the bottom engine cover?

check coolant level, it could be from bottom hose joint to radiator, or the hose itself. Taste it, if its sweet that's coolant!

Thanks for the advice.

I pulled the grill off and couldn’t see anything obvious. There doesn't appear to be any pipes, hoses and/or connecting radiator joints in or around the offending area.

I will keep an eye on it and let you know... I do know one thing... leaks on this car are generally expensive.

Maybe it's just water.

Dip your finger in it and give a taste. Washer fluid is soapy. Antifreeze is sweet. Dog pee is bitter.

a/c condensor overflow? the right side fluid should be by the doors. Don't ask me how I know that leak. The finger test is the best way to go at this point. My bet is a radiator hose.

I think the dog pee put him off, we'll probably never know now.
