Default Rarity of AW or SSB with cedar interior?

Looking through the forums and through pictures, and I think the cedar interior in a 6 speed coupe limited actually looks pretty sweet. Was this a rare color? Most likely looking at the alabaster white and sapphire silver blue, were either of these colors rare as well?

you don't see the interior all that much, but colors are abound. The color name is escaping me right now, but the gold color is the most rare. Oyster, that is it...the Oyster color is the most rare, and get that with cedar interior and you are there...lol

I've seen a fair number of black Crossies with the cedar interior. Looks sharp. I'm just Mr Conservative when it comes to color and ordered my roadster with the two-tone gray interior.

Would've loved my SRT with cedar, but alas it was not to be.

Cedar interiors go best with V8's.

I spent months looking for an SSB roaster 6spd with the cedar interior. That was back in 2006 when there was plenty of brand new cars on the market.
I have seen a few SSB coupes with that interior.

Alabaster with that interior I have only seen one, roadster, auto.

You are looking for a very rare combo in the Alabaster.

However, your luck with a 6 spd SSB would be much higher.

How bad do you want one. You can have mine for $20K

Then I can deal seriously on a SRT roadster.

And Silver... which to my belief was only available in '08.

The interior sure is sweet though!

From a quick analysis, I understood that the white car production was representing 7% of the production.

Then a white XF with cedar interior might represent 2%

Does anyone have the % of the cedar production?

Thanks,

Maxoil ;-)

Mine is SSB with the Cedar/Slate combo. I love it. I think they went overboard with the Cedar steering wheel. But it's but a small ***** in the armor overall. And remember, the Concept car Eric Stoddard designed was SSB, with the Cedar Slate. So if our designer on high liked it, that's good enough for me.

Agreed. The big red wheel is just too much
I put a dark cover on the rim of the steering wheel. Balanced the red out fine.

BTW Rush, thanks for the call.

There is a Silver with the Cedar interior in Nashville TN for sale, I think 17,500. Coupe, 6speed.

I think they should have two toned the outer wheel like they did the seats. And using the cedar stitching. I'd love to find someone that could do that.

Jesus that is expensive.

Edit: If it is actually 'silver' and not SSB, it must be a 2007 or 2008, if it had ultra low miles and great shape, maybe worth close to that.....

That is a cool idea Rush.

Just finding the matching gray material and stitching a cover on the rim would look awesome.

Actually some of the last new cars to go off lots were cedar interiors; some 07 & 08 Oyster Gold w/cedar ... dealers in Houston and Kansas City areas AFAIK.
My original plan was to put a Kleeman in a manual SSB w/cedar I saw for sale down South. Then the Danes ran out of their supercharged manifolds and spouse (who learned driving in a stick) said it had to be auto.
I may still commit the ultimate sacrilege and put a Cedar interior in my SRT ... not that that cherry hasn't been popped already

The Cedar/slate interior was one of the two must have things we wanted in the Crossfire. (6 spd was the other).
At first, getting it in a white car was a compromise, but almost immediately it bacame the ideal color combination for us.
I've never owned any other car that had a more inviting lookin interior.IMO
I guess I'm truly a child of the 60's, because the "cedar" colored steering wheel looks just fine to me.

I made the cut and am driving a SSB/Roadster/Limited with the Cedar interior.

I wanted it as a Black Roadster/Limited with Cedar (and low mileage), but got tired of looking and waiting on one to find.

So I settled for the SSB/Cedar.

No sooner do I close the deal on the SSB, I see a few Black/Cedar Xfire's crop up.

Bottom line, the SSB color has grown on me, and it hides the door niks and dust a little better than the Black.

How's that for rationalizing...lol...
