Those are All-Season tires, not summer tires. I've put almost 20,000 miles on a set of fronts & have been very happy. Looks like I'll get about 40,000 out of them. $67 at Onlinetires.com.

The Crossfire is know for its classic 18/19 'staggered' look, and I am curious as to how it will appear all laid out flat. Show us pics when you're done.
They are a pretty good deal. I saw that they had 235-40/18 on the fronts, and 245-35/19 for the rears. That's only a slight drop from the 255/35 that's OEM, so I wonder how far off the speedo would be with that sizing. Even with shipping we're talking about installed 800 for DWS's vs about 500 max for these.

FWIW, if you did stock in the front, and the 245/35-19's in the rear, the sidewalls of the rear would only be .10" shorter than the front's, 3.5 compared to 3.4", and even though the overall tire would be just a tad shorter, not even noticeable, the speedo is only 1/2 MPH off. This seems to me to be a great tradeoff in pricing/vs overall value. Just wish I knew if Achilles were good overall tires. All seasons though?

Like I said, after almost 20,000 miles on my 07 6 spd XF.....the Achilles (on the front) still have slightly deeper tread depth (about 6/32nds) left than the OEM fronts on my wife's 08 automatic XF & her car only has 10,400 miles on it.
Both cars are wearing evenly across their tires. I've had them up to 120 mph & driven thru 6-8 in snows....I'm still alive!!

How's the tire noise and the wandering on them? My conti-oem's are just past 27K and the fronts are yet pretty good, the rears need to be replaced, so I think I got pretty good wear out of them. their noise levels in the rear though now are getting more annoying. The reviews online were poor for noise, just wondering what you thought. handling in wet was marginal too, but you may have a different perspective. Would like to hear from you on those points.
Well, on my 07 (I guess it says something about the way I drive) (both cars were purchased new)...when it was just shy of a year old (17,000 on the odometer) the front OEM Contis had slipped belts....I had to replace them STAT locally....the tires I replaced them with became VERY noisy ....so when the odometer had about 41,000 miles on it was when I installed theses ATRs.....to this day they still quieter that the originals & first replacements.
Wife's car is quieter (OEMS)....but then I have Blizzaks on the rear of mine ....got those super cheap & have put 11,000 on them & they still have 8/32nds left !!!!!
So happy with the combo....I have a second set of both in the basement.

stock tire size for the back is 255 35 R19 as long as you go with a 2## 40 r18 its essentially the same size and will cause no speedo errors
