Default The bigger the blob, the better the job!

Well, there I was, first in line at the traffic light. My '05 Coupe just died on me. After 15 minutes or so, it started up again. I got home and pulled out the Relay Control Module. Sure enough, there where several bad solder joints.

I re-soldered the offending joints and added a little extra where needed. The car started and ran just fine on my 20 minute test flight. Everything seems OK. I hope that was it.

A million thanks to this forum and to tighed1 for the instructions and pix! This forum can't be beat!

Happy Motoring,
Tom G

Good idea for everyone to check this.

In the tutorial, there was mention of making the cig lighter hot all the time as well. I ran a search and couldn't find the tutorial on that. Was one ever done?

I don't know about the cig lighter, but the horn has a fix to be ready to toot when the ignition is off.
