Im bringing in the xfire for a wheel bearing replacement and Im wondering what other things i should look at since im about to break 100k miles. Transmission fluid?

Also, is there anywhere I can find the side mirror joystick controller thing online? I broke the **** and the part it attaches to.

Your Parts Search Returned 1 Part(s)

There you go. Mirror switch.

I had the same exact thing happen to me last year. Was a pretty easy fix actually. You only need a few simple tools (Philips, maybe torx wrenches) You have to take the center console/divider off and be careful not to pull the wires that are connected to it too hard or they'll break.

Search for the how-to on the forum. I've used it and it was a great write-up.

Mercedes Mirror Switch 300CE 300E 300TE 400E 500 OE NEW | eBay

I bought my switch from this seller on ebay. Genuine MB part, new in package. Best price I could find around. Seller was great too.

At 100K I would have the transmission flushed and fluid/filter changed and the rear differential oil drained and replaced. I would hope you have had the brake fluid replaced a time or two by now, if not you are way over do and should have that done too... Have you ever had the cooling system completely flushed?? Power steering fluid flushed??

I am a believer in changing out all fluids every so often to keep fresh stuff lubing and cooling properly....

The manual calls for spark plugs and change engine coolant at 5 years or 100k.
