Default Wet Crossfire Results in Fix!!!

Ok, so I'm at the car wash washing the pollen off my XF and when done decided I'd leave and go 80 down the interstate till it was dry.... LOL... a guy stops me before I can get out of the lot and says "you are not going to leave with that beauty wet, I said yeah i'm gonna blow dry it, why you want to dry it for me, he said yes, sooooo I back up get out and let him dry it. He said it was the best looking car he has seen in a long time, then we got to talking and I told him about the problem I've had, every since the last oil change, of it not wanting to idle at the stop lights, etc.... he said pop the hood, he looked at all the vac lines, nothing, then i was whiping off the engine cover of greasy finger prints and he discovered that it was very loose.... and that the intake hose on both sides was disconnected!!! He reattached everything and I've not had the problem again so far.... so I do believe that nice man fixed it!!!

Yes I bought the man a beer!! and let him drive it down the interstate, he's in LOVE, with the car that is.... and now have a new friend! See how Crossfires' bring people together... LOL

Well as much as I would like the story to go further it cannot, the guy is MARRIED, but at the very least I have a car wash buddy that appreciates the beautiful lines of the Crossfire... Oh by the way he did after drying it put the Zaino Clean Seal over the whole car too... LOL! What a guy, too bad he is married!!!!
