Default 1.st Crossfire sold in Sweden.

Hi,
Finally got it! 1.st sold and delivered Xfire in Sweden (prob. 1.st in Scandinavia). Got my first glance at the Stockholm Carshow two years ago and have been waiting since. Picked it up 10 days ago and yes, big difference! (used to drive a New Beetle). It feels very refreshing knowing Sweden has the highest density of Porches per capita in the world.
Big headturner over here among all Volvos, Saabs and 911s.

My choice: Graphite, all black interior - Xfire Imaculate!

I am just over the line where I get a bigger kick driving it rather tha just looking at it.

The only extras I have is an electric engine heater. For those really cold mornings (it get well below -25 in the winter). No cold starts!

I have enjoyed this forum, and sure will keep tuned.

Hi Nemo - Welcome to the Crossfire ranks. It will take a long time for the "new" to wear off as the Crossfire is a total joy to drive and has lasting eye appeal.

Did your Crossfire come equipped with headlight washers? My Volvo has little wipers on each headlight unit, nice here in Florida during the summer rains. I think they are a requirement in Sweden?

Congrats on your purchase. Hope you got time for the frequent interviews at local gas stations / stop lights / stores ... etc. 8)

Congratulations. My son also went from a new beetle to crossfire. We'll have a sip of heimbrent to celebrate your decision.

Hi Nemo,

welcome to the Club ;-) ...even though there are a few more Xfires on the road here we all still share the joys of being exclusive...but not as exclusive as you are...enjoy the interviews and be prepared to be asked to pop the hood, the trunk ...take strangers for a spin around the block...and so on...wonderful times especially when I think of those beautiful girls I met on my visits to Sweden. ;-)
I also remember a few choice roads that just scream Xfire...mhm how much would it cost to have a Xfire vacation in Sweden ???
