I just rolled over 16,000 miles and I was just curious if anyone has had any of the following problems. If you have, what information can you provide to help me troubleshoot.

1. Rough idle. Car vibrates when stopoed at stoplight.
2. When accelerating quickly, occasionally the transmission doesn't shift until I let off the accelerator.
3. CD player occasionally makes a loud clicking noise and won't play or eject the CD
4. A noticeable ticking noise coming from the engine compartment. I know this has been addressed before, but the ticking is getting worse

I am scheduling a service appointment today and want to go in with as much information as possible. I would appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks.

Rough idle. Most likely a faulty fuel injector.
Trans shift. Don't let off the accelerator. More accel=higher shift point. This is not a problem. Not shifting at all on light throttle = problem.
CD player. Hmmm. Sounds like the laser is getting stuck on the worm gear . Sounds like a defective CD player.
Ticking. Light ticking is normal. If it is getting worse, then it may be related to rough idle problem.

I have a bit over 4,000 on mine and experiense some of the same problems. Once in a while, the CDs I burned on my computer will just stop playing. A couple of minutes later everything would be fine again. No problem ejecting or turning the unit off, though.
I also noticed rough idle that appeared after 3,500 miles. I wounder why?
