Default At the park today

(actually was there yesterday)

Just recently I found some silver strips in a box in the garage. I thought I would try something. They turned out to dark. Today they will be coming off, after looking over these photos. See my gallery for all them. James

James, I know a place where you can get chrome...any width you want....I like the painter rocker, but it does break it up....

I like the strip. Different and creative. Being dark on the bottom is not a bad thing.

By the way... Love the exhaust.

Nice touch.

But did the silver strips you found in the garage come on a roll? ... as in silver duct tape? They do say the stuff has a thousand uses.

No, they are, were, genuine stripes, left over from a Mustang kit. I trimmed the small stripes off each side. And yes, my first thought was it looked too similar to duct tape. A brighter silver and they may have stayed.

I had the same experience... removed the stripes after ~ 5 weeks.

These cars have such beautiful lines that adding anything other than a very subtle stripe (ie; the slasher is nice) usually just seems distracting.
That being said, I thought the lower stripe looked good too, James.
If you look at valkryderguy's slasher stripes, they are a dark shade with a lighter boarder.
I think if those mustang stripes had had similar contrasting boarders in a lighter silver they would have been really sharp.

There's one thing for sure, you can't beat the color.
