I got my baby today
YES....this morning I met the seller of my new crossfire at 9am at the bank to make the transaction. All went well, and now I am the owner of a new-to-me 2004 Crossfire!! She has 57K miles on the odo, and through the help of this forum, I was able to sort out many concerns. Thank you all.
Within the hour all the paperwork was complete, and I was on the road. I promptly pulled her in the garage, and made a list of things that I would do to spruce up her appearance. Don’t get me wrong, the previous owner obviously treated this car with respect and care. My neighbor came by tonight and thought it was a brand new car; he was surprised to learn it was 7 years old already.
So, what have I done so far? I’ve purchased new wiper blades and installed (needed it badly). I’ve also restored the headlights. I must say, the Turtle Wax headlight restore kit works wonders. It’s got the different grades of wet sand pads, lubricant, polish and a final sealer wipe. I was not CRAZY impressed with the results until I applied the final step which is the sealer wipe. GEEZ, the appearance is 100% clear and shiny. The directions say it will cure within 24 hrs. Hopefully, it will cure as it appears now.
I’ve also purchased some interior cleaner/conditioners for the leather. There really isn’t a lot to do to the car because it was very well taken care of, but I’m going over the top to get it the best I can. OH, i’ve also ordered a new cabin air filter that I will install upon arrival. I figure it MAY be one of those items that has been overlooked; can’t hurt to replace and see if it freshens the cabin some.
So, I thank you all again for the guidance, patience, advice and encouragement. My next step, obviously, is to take some pictures and post for you all to see. I’m so excited, I’m not sure how much sleep I’ll get tonight. I keep peeking in the garage with disbelief that this FINE car is in my garage. So thankful.

Glad you finally got her home. Sounds like you are off to a good start taking care of her too!
Looking forward to the pictures and your adventures with your new Crossfire!
Welcome to the family!

Get use to it.
Congrats.
Yep, coming up on 2 years of ownership now, and I always go into the garage and admire her just before turning the lights out for the night. I have never felt that way about any other car that I have owned. Welcome to the OCGD club. (Obsessive Crossfire Gawking Disorder)

Now, make plans for local GTG and a trip to Fontana Lodge in western N Carolina. AKA the Dragon.
Or Denver CO. CAA 2011.

Congrats Ninja enjoy that Crossfire. Btw I did not make it thru that first night. I was back up at 1 am for another hour ride. Still happens from time to time. Hope to see you at the Dragon.
Congrats on your Crossy, but be careful. I just washed/clayed and waxed mine and it looked so good (after 6 buds) that I went over and washed and waxed my home's air conditioner! Never did that before!
Replace Christmas with Crossfire and this is us! LOL
