I would have figured the SRT6 had enough to keep pushin lol

what is the difference between 160 and 156! for the N/A
Then to drive at this speed, you have to drive on a nice road, fenced.
In Europe, Highways are fenced, at least in France. very few animals can jump it.
Then, people have the habit of crazy drivers, which is a bad/good thing
Then roads over there have a capability to absorb water, rarely the case in US.
Anyway for all these reasons, I will not feel comfortable to drive at the max speed on a US roads versus French or European roads... according the car was built in Germany...
BMW M5 etc are also limited to 250km/h
An agreement between Mercedes/BMW/AUDI

There are a few 1 Mile events every year where you can open the car up to get the full potential out of them. Very highly regulated on safety equipment though.
Even though the stock NA Crossfire is electronically limited in rpm, top speed is determined by its aerodynamic drag limitation. On level ground, no tailwind, etc., the stock NA Crossfire should attain 150 mph in ideal conditions.
Original sales material states the n/a is electronically governed to 150 and the SRT6 to 158. At the time, the absence of a stick and +8 mph that I could never use did not offset the additional $10k price. But I bought a used SRT6 three years ago and it is a blast to drive.
Here we go again....the car is gear bound in the area of 186. 3.07 gear in the SRT, 3.27 gear in the N/A. At 6200 rpm w/ the 3.07 rear, you are looking at 186, if you have the right conditions, and enough HP....I have been to 160, and I could tell we were going to need a little more if we were to continue. I did this 0-160 in 9/10ths of a mile, and used another mile to bring here back down to 55. That was before a tune, but with the code 3 pulley, and a single CAI...haven't had a good place to try this since all the other mods, but it sees 140-145 everytime we venture down to the Dragon for some odd reason...and this is just the roadster, we haven't played much with the coupe yet.
