" I don't have the part number in front of me but you can get them at a Mercedes dealer, it's a standard Mercedes item. I had to order them but they were inexpensive and only took a few days to get. "
So, you may want to check out a Mercedes dealer. The other option is buy some new mats that come with the clips. You'll have a spare set of mats and the clips are interchange able so once you wear these out, just switch out the clips with the new ones. You can find the original mats for pretty cheap..........between 30 and 60 bucks last I looked.

Try calling OE Discount Auto Parts in Asheville, NC. The number is: 800.849.2765.
These guys have always come thru for me when I was looking for "hard-to-find" parts.

Mickey5469 Gave me the p/n's today but they are at my office. He said try a floor mat retainer fastener for a Dodge Viper or Mercedes SLK32., They come 4 to a pack and are about $4.

Just my two cents, I bought some custom mats a couple of years ago and when mine broke I used some very thin steel wire from lowes and just wrapped/twisted it around both posts. It hasn't had any problems since then. Pretty easy to remove and redo when I clean them too. Cost me $3 and about 1min of work. Not as clean as official clips but it was quick and easy.

Not sure about the exact problem, but my mat let go near the corner closest to the edge of the driver door leaving the plastic circular piece loose. I found that it was very easy to use super glue on the bottom of the mat (plastic only side) to attach the plastic piece back to it. It has been working very well.
