Looks like they wrapped it with the shiny side up of aluminum foil. yuk.

 

That's why I missed the Dragon, I find it too hard to drive into the sun. Only night time driving for me now.

It looks ridiculous... but I kind of like it. Reminds me of Back to the Future Part II for some reason, everything in the future is shinier.

 

Dang, I like chrome but that's a bit much, even for me.

 

I wouldn't do it to my car, but I think it looks really cool.
Gives the appearence that it's polished aluminum. (I know there's more than one AC Cobra out there like that).
I'm not sure, but it seems like I remember a bunch of Pontiac engineers got together and campaigned their own Trans AM car, first it was a 64 Pontiac LeManns, then later a Firebird, and I think they did the same thing to their race car. Until it was outlawed by race officials for being too dangerous because the "glare" from it could blind another driver.
I'm sure the same thing could happen on a public street, with even higher consequences.

Damn the same things come around here pretty often. Beaner started a thread about this months and months ago, he saw it at a car show in Canada, just a vehicle wrap, nothing too wild. I too like the wheels, as I almost bought them, but when I saw another XF with them, I could not do it, no matter how much I liked them.

When I was in ImportFest Toronto a month or so ago I seen the car there. I talked with the owner for a bit, very nice guy and he is on the forum and knew about my car. Too bad I was not parked beside him during the show to get a side by side pic but maybe in the spring I will go visit, where ever that my be

Hey Bryan...good to hear from you. It would have been nice seeing you at the Dragon this past weekend. It was my next door neighbour (car guy who has taught me a lot over the years) who saw the car while driving through Toronto today. He took the photo's and emailed them to me...I just had to share!

Share all you can. I am getting a blackberry since I never seem to have a camara with me when I need it, then watch out.. If you get spotted you will be posted in full detail! haha

 

I think that it looks really neat but in a very large Hot Wheels kinda way.
