How Tall Is "Too Tall" for A Cofortable Fit
Greetings From Miami! I am considering a CrossFire and really am jazzed about the 6 speed limited coupe. I have test driven the car and can live with the rear view trapazod. But wow-the cabin is snug. Comming from a mid sized car I'm sure has alot to do with it, but I've also owned Vettes and Bugs so no big deal there. But I'm 6 feet tall and my head is about 2 to 3 inches from the liner! No room for big bumps!. Anybody have feed back on the height size issue. Thanks in advance.
Don't worry about head-room on big bumps. If its a big enough bump you make you move out of your seat, worry about your tires and rims!
5' 11" No real problem. If I sit straight straight with the seat as high as it goes my hair brushes the liner, but that's not how I drive.
It is a cozy interior, meant for good-posture and attentive driving. Not to slouching, or stretching out. It does take some getting use to, but its very comfortable. No aches or pains or even stiffness from 14 hours straight, followed by 10 hours two days later, then another 10 the following night.
I can't even say that about the 70's Cadi's and they were like driving on the living room couch.

No problems here at 6 foot 275 pounds (...and no, it's not all muscle!!!). Hardest part for me is getting out. Someone else said awhile back in another post, "you don't fit in the car, you wear it like a glove" or something like that.
My husband is over six feet and drives the car fine (when I let him). Be sure you try it out with the drivers seat all the way down, not just back. He didn't realize at first that he could lower the seat and was uncomfortable until I showed him how to adjust it.
Thank you all for your comments. It really helps to have so many actual owners giving me "real deal" feedback. As a follow up, I know the Crossfire is a concept car, but getting in and out is a bit of an aerobic activity with the ducking and all. The roof of the car raps the side a bit and makes for a low entry point. Any comments about entering and exiting? :?: :?

My biggest gripe with the seating while driving is the poor lumbar support. I plan to enhance that a bit (see http://www.slk32.com/pages/lumbar/lumbar.html ).
Biggest trouble with getting in and out for me (yes, a duck is required but it doesn't bother me) is I wear steel-toe shoes at work, so I must take care when exiting that I not put a foot through the speaker cover. A couple "close calls" already, but so far I haven't broken it.
I am 6'5". The limited room inside prevents me from comfortably driving the coupe. This problem is gone in the convertible.
I'd say that the length of your torso is the determining factor, not really the height. Based on the height of people I've had as passengers, I'd say 6'2" is probably the comfort limit. Although there are probably many who have given up the comfort level because "they had to have one".
