Changing From SLK320 to XF
Hi Guys
New to your forum but have been on SLKWorld forum for over 2 years now. I was wondering if there are special areas I should pay attention to when viewing a potential purchase. I know the 320 engine and running gear are solid, it just the other bits I need advice on
Cheers

If you're already friends with a Mercedes mechanic, keep him around as Chrysler dealerships are incompetent in general.
Be prepared to have many more people showing interest in your car, the Crossfire is a looker and quite polarizing.
Welcome to the forums!
Cheers, got access to a 2 and a 4 poster with attached Mechanic, so that's covered, only do around 6000 miles per year so not aiming to go thru tyres too quickly. Does anyone know if I can put my 16" winter SLK wheels on they fit the SLK320 so I Am assuming they probably will just bolt on and look mighty strange

Done the deed. Got the new car home only to find front brake pads need replacing. Went searching for the Locking nut key. Absent, spent the last 2 days chasing dealer for it. No sense of urgency. Went to the local merc dealer who had a special box of master keys, some sweet talking and hey presto 10 minutes later a replacement was on order. It would appear they have 2 sets of masters. We need the 'old' type set.
Welcome to the forum and your new perma-grin machine...
Please post a few pictures of your new toy as well as some specifics on it... mileage, where purchased, price, etc.
In the SRT section there is a pinned thread with a library of documents you SHOULD grab up. This collection covers ALL Crossfires.
Here is a link to it.
Cheers!

Had a quick look and there seems to be a wealth of info. If it isn't there the guys over @ SlkWorld probably have the answer. I just cross referenced both sites when I had an SLK
