Check Engine Light!!

My check engine light has been illuminated for about a month now, I got a friend to pull the code a couple days after it came on. It was P0410 "Secondary Air Injection System". I guess some sort of malfunction..? Has anyone had a similar problem or know what I'm going to have to do to get this fixed? I've been driving for a month with this light on and it hasn't effected the performance of the car. It's the blinding amber light I can't stand

Hopefully someone can help!! Thanks ya'll!

Re: Check Engine Light!!

That was the first symptom I had when my Relay Control Module needed a re-solder job. The next problem was the Mystery No Start problem, then the engine dying in traffic. Turns out that the Secondary Air Pump was not really the problem, just the first warning sign.

Of course, the first thing I did was put a piece of black electrical tape over the Check Engine Light. I figured it had to be wrong! Then I found this forum... :)

It is a common problem but there are quite a few causes, not just this one.
