Default Color Matched Side Scoops

Since the little rear side windows are basically unusable, how do you think it would look to add a set of custom fitted, color matched, imitation air scoops over the window area

Similar to the old Shelby Mustang Side Scoops

The body lines of the Crossfire are beautiful, but I think that a set of side scoops would give it an aggressive "What In The Hell Is That" kinda look

I have some fiberglass mat left over from a Typhoon project so i will try to mock up a set and get some photo's for all to see

Later

Ray

Perhaps the Crossfire hood scoops someone was selling on ebay (use the search tool to find that thread) could be used there...

Personally, I don't like fake scoops and vents. I'm not crazy about the fact the our side vents are fake.

I must admit that the scoops on the side are already bad enough. They should at least be functional and help cool the engine !

That's exactly my thought too, LordNikon.... They should be open to allow for ventelating the engine compartment. Air enters the grille and would exit out the side vent. Like a Corvette's side vents.

Right WMichaels I would also rather have real vents for the engine compartment...without loosing the silver grill.
Has one of the Techies ever responded to the other post where that was discussed ??
I don't know what all is hidden behind the fakes, so ducting might be a problem.

As far as Sytech's scoops go I'll hold my final comment until I see a prototype, but the PSP rendering would not
find it's way onto Blaze for sure....No offense Drunkiq.
Just not my cup of tea.

None taken I am not into body modification on cars myself, however I do not like the front plastic grill our cars came with. That may be the only mod I forsee on the exterior coming down the pipes for me, but only if something tastful come out.

p.s. my side windows work fine... just push the passanger seat fowared to see out on the passanger side.
