Default should i?

this guy is selling his 2004 crossfire 6speed coup with 59k miles for $9800 and i offered him $8500 because off cosmetic issues with the dash and door handles. I dont really know anything about this car except its german made. Is it hard to get parts for it like oil filters and what not? And is this a good deal?

You already offered him a price and then asked questions? Sounds a bit backwards to me...

Regular maintenance items are easy to locate. The hardest part is finding replacement body panels/interior pieces specific to the crossfire... You do know it's an SLK R170 right?

Sounds like a good deal to me, since the car is hand built in Germany and the entire drivetrain is Mercedes Benze.
