BTW, how does the process work ?

I'm thinking, I hook up the laptop with the cable ( laptop has wifi connect ), call them and they do their thing, right ?

Are there any other benefits to the cable hookup, like performance monitoring etc ?

You have to install a commercial remote-access software package (Log Me In) first and do the back-an-forth with EC to set up access. You start the car with the laptop attached (your Crossfire is now a peripheral!) and let him do his thing.

 

I am excited to see how big the difference will be between my 5+ year old 'canned' tune and the new one I will be dialing in for my mods...

 

Hey George, George here! Did you remember to add the tuning cable? I think that has to be added as the tune does not include a cable in the ordering process. Just sayin!
