Default Sightings

Its been almost a year now I have had my Crossfire and except for the west coast hookup i have only seen maybe 4 other cars. Well in the last 4 days I have seen 2 new ones. A nice red one in Seaside Cal. on Monday and a new ( no plate ) charcoal gray one at lunch today in Milpitas Cal.
Looks like the exclusitivity is comming to an end . Although I still see
way more Fararri's than Xfires.

I've had mine for a year now and other than folks I meet at the NJ Art of Driving I haven't met anyone on the road. I have seen a total of 3 on the road in CT but each time we were traveling in the opposite direction - both at speeds in excess of legal, so it was only a blur, lol.

Once I even turned around and gave chase but couldn't catch him in traffic.

So while there has been some sightings, no "close encounters of the 3rd kind".

I've had my roadster for going on 3 months and have not seen another yet, in fact I've only encountered 2 coupes in that same period and that was a glimpse a few blocks away. In the last week I've seen more Lambos then Crossfires. have to say though, that new Lambo is an awsome looking machine.

All of you are lucky .. lucky people ...

Michigan... average drive down in Troy, Birmingham, Rochester... will reveal at least 2 - 3 Crossfires on a short drive... they are spreading VERY fast through michigan... its lost it rarity in lower michigan... but if you head past flint there still is barely anything!

Two things:

What is the Secret XFire Hand signal?

I've seen about 2 Xfires, since I leased mine 2 months ago. Rarity Factor still exists in Ann Arbor and Lansing, MI. Funny thing is as BobaFettm was saying in Troy, MI theres quite a few. The two I saw were at Somerset collection, as I pulled into Valet. Though I haven't seen another one yet.

I finally saw one - a red blaze XF in Nacodoches ( 70 miles away from home ) at the gas station. It looks like an out of state'er since it don't have a license plate in the front. I didn't get the license tag though and its sad that I was using my green Ford Expy at that time

Whoever you are..its good to see a live XF around

A sighting!!!!

After five months I finally saw a red Crossfire coupe on Sunday afternoon driving down Memorial Drive in Cambridge MA. He had is spoiler up.

You know, they're pretty cool-looking cars! I love mine, but I don't get to see it on the road, so it's hard to know what they look like.

I have had my Crossfire for 2 months now. I live in Southern New Jersey and have yet to see another one before or since I got mine. Actually, seems the only place you can find one is on display at a Casino, as a promotional give away. Right now the Borgota Hotel Casino has one on display - black, just like mine. Harrahs' had a drawing recently on a white Crossfire and Trump Plaza had a red one. Friends have told me, "I saw your car at the Borgota."

Looks like I have the market cornered for now!

We went out this afternoon after everyone left us from the "LV Aw Shucks-Up", and pulling out of the Santa Fe Hotel parking lot was a SSB. He made a left right in front of us. We were waving - like idiots - do you think they would even acknowledge us? NO! ..... bummer, we were hoping we had another member for our Sin City Hook-Up in 3 weeks. Their loss ...
