The Crossfire in the news again...
I came across this article today. All I will say is I've owned more than 1 car on this list, so I think you know my take on it...
10 tarnished halo cars - Yahoo! Autos
Miss my crossfire every time I hit a winding country road...

And the Crossfire was probably the highest seller on that list.
Where's the moneypit Maybach? It was a flagship, and MB lost money on every one sold.

Thanks. Gave me a new perspective. The Crossfire was very attractive, Expensive and exclusive. It was an impulse buy and I am an impulse buyer. i bought mine with little deliberation. Car of a lifetime.
gary
cool article - the only car on there I'd not be interested in was the Chrysler TC... liked or loved the rest!! At one point I was actively looking for a Blackwood
Im not an impulse buyer, i looked at porsche boxster, the 3 and 5 series bmw's , jag sedan and ske, rx8, 300's even a turbo 944 and i always wanted a 928, actually Passed on the xfr early on because of some consumer reiviews of a "harsh ride" and "not good for long trips" posts. UNTIL i drove one....wow for the used car market at least, for the features, handling, performance, price...style and usually very low mileage for the year, i just cant say enough about this car. My wife whom i almost bought a pristine 944s2 cabriolet, till we drove it (had a bad wobble), said she was amazed how smooth it was. Happy xfr owner.."ahem" ...."cough" right up until i need tires
I could not agree more. Definitely a "Car of a lifetime." And to think that we all have the privlege to drive one.
At least it's a halp car, leading with the Base model at that. I looked at BMW Z4 and others just to be sure the XF was a good deal, and it was. Looks, reasonable performance, comfort. I have two -- need I say more.
