Default new michelin pilot super sport! review...

Decided to upgrade from DW continental to pilot super sport.
Amazing. More comfy, better grip. Not sure about the noise.
Good deal. Paid $200 each for front,235.40.19. No tax free shipping. Elsewhere ...$250 + shipping.

Rear. 275.35.19. $286/tire. + 15 shipping.
Great tires. No run here yet... will keep posting to update miles after miles

Have had mine for 1 yr now. Anything but these puppies is not worth the money. Where did you get yours? Planning on upgrade the rear to 295/30/19.

I think you mean 235/40-R18 for the fronts? I was leaning towards Hankooks in the sizes you used. However, I have read that they are great when new but become "slippery" as they wear. Michelins certainly have a great reputation and came out very high in a recent R&T rating. Can you post your experience with them in a few months??

I plan on replacing tires on my roadster and SRT6 in the spring. Not so much due to wear (although the rears in the roadster are pretty worn after 40k) but more due to age.

yes 235/40ZR18. thanks

I find them great. the installer inflated at 40psi. when i left I was thinking ...ok a little improvement about softness but not too much... now at 32psi... of course it feels amazing. tight grip...
i get the rear in a few days... i got them """cheap""" for the best tires in the world

I did buy the front from Tire Crawler.com for $200/tire free shipping slsewhere $240 + Shipping
The rear 265/35/19 at discounted wheel...com for $286/tire + $26 shipping

I just bough the Konis, was tired of the car having this funny motion... and after 8 years.. I believe it is/was time to change the struts. Paid $600 for all 4 + free shipping at autoanything.com and they offer a refund if you find cheaper for 1 year.

Next I will have to change the pads and rotors... I guess another $300

And hopefully I should be done for a while!

I bough the 275/35/19 instead of 285 because they do not make the 285 and 295 were a way too expensive $360 to $400/tire
NOPE

I switched from Michelin Pilot Sports to Conti DWS's and really liked them, and still do. Then again, I have to drive in rain often, and some snow, and the PSs were useless in the snow.

Yes they useless for the simple reason they are summer tires.
IT IS DANGEROUS, I would say to drive with summer tires in the snow....

I had DWS and DW. for now PSS are better than all but hey.... everyone has different need!

Yes. Was very dangerous, haha. Do you really think the PSS are more comfortable then the DWS?

I think so, "I have the feeling" they slap less the bumps!

Then yesterday, we got some flash heavy showers. I could notice the DWS saturating, nothing yesterday but gain... very difficult to compare ( quantity, inches of water on the ground, surface...? etc...)

i got the front a few days ago, the set for the rear in on the way!

And I will add, I don't remember my PSSs when they were new. They were quite wore out when I replaced them.
