Default mobil 1 rebate $10 for 5L

Coupon gets you $10 off for every 5L you buy.

Not sure how much the 0W-40 is at Autozone but might be a good deal if you need oil and can use the rebate. Looks like it's good till Sept. 17, 2012

It's $8.99 / at Autozone.....the $10 rebate makes it $6.99 + a stamp. You can get it at Walmart for $6.47.

Would be better if Autozone carried the 5 qt jug.....but, as far as I can tell.....they don't.

A better deal is going on at Advance Auto......$29.99 for 5 quarts + a filter.......you buy it.....then turn around & say you want to return the filter....they'll probably give you $5 back on the filter.....so you ended up paying about $5 / quart. Advance does carry the 5 qt bottles at most locations.

$8.99 for a quart at the regular price? That' highway robbery! Advanced Auto would be the place to go.

After printing the coupon and going to the autozone website and seeing they do not sell the 5 qt bottles, I realized the price was way too high with the single qt bottles. I will go back to advance and get the special they have like I did earlier this year. I will ask if they will take the filters back for a credit later but feel this is not good mojo (have two other vehicles I can get filters for anyway). My plan is to have 6 complete oil changes in stock for my XF (going to do one in the near future anyway and have three complete right now at 5 bottles of 5qt. on hand). Anyway, so far the best deal is the one mentioned here by a member at 30 bucks for a 5qt and mobil1 filter.

Granted I live in Southern California but I just bought a 5 quart jug for $35.99 before the $10.00 rebate so it was $24.99. That comes out to about $5.19 a quart.

Wal-Mart stores around here (south FL) don't carry the Mobil 1 in 0W40. I asked if they could special order several cases for me and they said they cannot order anything that they don't normally stock. Go figure . . .

Just got home from the sale at advance auto. Total for 5 ea 5 qt juggs and 5 Mobil1 filters was $161.95. That works out to three oil changes with two filters left over and each oil change costing (with all taxes/fees) to 53 dollars and 93.3 cents per oil change. I also have about 1 qt 0W-40 left over with those two filters! They want $19.99 per filter and $37.99 per 5 qt jugg regular price. The total without the special would have been @ $313.92 (there is a fee for each jugg DEHEC that I am not sure of) so it seems the savings is @ $151.97 thereabouts. Not bad for just the parts to do the oil changes!

Thanks Chris L, for the heads up on the 30 dollar special!

I went to walmart.com and checked inventory. There are 7 stores close by, but only two stock it.

However, I'm going to be doing the Advance Auto deal for now. Looks too good to be true.

I'm not finding this sale listed anywhere . . . How did you find out about this and how can I "see" this sale? Is it in an Advance Auto Parts sale flyer?

Pennzoil has a rebate too - some restrictions. Go to their site. Stumbled on this when dealership used Pennzoil - endorsing this brand over Mobil. Dealership did not tell me - it was truly a 'stumble' as I was puzzled that dealership did not use Mobil. Since I have an extended warranty, I want to keep the dealership honest......and warranty good.

Its on their current webpage right in the middle. It took me a few times to find it there, click on the other oil special I think, thats the flyer. It is on the last page of the flyer and it is a store-only deal. Good hunting!

I see you found it, great!

If you have no use for the filter .....just return it for a refund. Then walk back over to the filters & buy the Purolator L25277.......it's the correct fleece & O rings....sometimes even says Mann.

Actually, now that I think about it (my wife does this all the time).....Walmart "price-matches" any advertised price. If you don't have an Advance Auto near you.....print off the flyer & take it to your Walmart if they carry M1 0W-40.....& then return the filter.....I don't think they carry a proper filter.

Is the Mobil 1 filter that bad? Hard to believe they would have one of the most recommended oils and an inferior filter.
