Default steering stabilizer

Trying to change the steering stabilizer ! Got the bolt & nuts loose but bolt to long to come out ??? Hits on top cant pull out ? I thought this was an easy change ? Is it because I have front end up on ramps ??? Help !!!!

Umm.. sounds like you are where I was on my first change.. had to turn the wheels slightly..

If that is your case.. might make note here "1/2 turn to left" or whatever it is to clear.. I've never noticed it in any post..

Don't panic - that's normal. Just turn your wheel to the left about half a turn on the steering wheel. Since you are on ramps, turn slow and watch the ramps - they will probably turn with the wheels. Once you have the wheels turned, the bolt should come out. Leave the wheels turned until you are finished with the install, slowly straighten them back to center, and bring her off the ramps - done and done

Thanks all !!!! Yes I took it off the ramps & raised it up on drivers side with wheel turned very east to do !! Thanks again for all who answered my call !!!! Oil changed stabilizer bar changed & even got the FSS to change after many trys !!!! When the say one second push the button twice thats what ya have to do & be fast at it !!!! Have a great Labor Day !!!!!! Sunny here in Granger Indiana !!!!
