my local dealer received it's 1st base coupe yesterday....

here are a list of the changes / lack of...i noticed...

interior:

- flat black plastic around door lever, tweeters, door speakers, steering wheel spokes
- black radio ***** (base radio/looks the same)
- black cigarette lighter
- matte silver center console trim (no clearcoat...same finish as a/c ****)
- no cup holder (black plastic deep misc holder with rubber bottom)
- no heated seats
- cloth seats w/ height adjustable headrest (black)
- no power seats (all manual controls)
- no self dimming mirrors
- no homelink
- no passenger side cargo net or upper center storage pocket
- 6 speed only


exterior:

- all silver trim is now black
- exhaust tips are stainless steel (matte finish)
- no fog lamps

 

THAT settles it, I'm not gonna get one now... :P :roll: :P

 

And you forgot not $6,000 dollars needed to buy the new Ltd Xf.

 

I got a base coupe and it looks sharp with all the side fins and windshield surround in black. Yeah the interior is a bit different from my '04 but the changes are minimal and you really have to know the limited well to notice the changes quickly other than the leather/power seat. Though i've noticed that my car sits higher than my 04 both have stock springs could there have been a change in the suspension set up for 05?????
