HooK-Ups --> UP see Signature ;-)
In between Hook-Ups --> Auto Mode
Seeing a pretty girl in the next lane --> ;-)

And in preparation for landing the "tray tables and seatbacks" are definitely in their locked position :-) to avoid fiddling like David said.

Auto mode, with the exception putting it up manually at a stop light when there's a car full of teenage boys behind me. I can't resist inducing the cool factor ... :wink:

Mostly left in auto mode. But as my commute usually is 35mph-75mph and back 32 times a day I go into manual mode when entering the highway and back to automode when I get off to just try and reduce the wear on the poor little motor.

Auto Mode for me also. Its still a rush to see it go up in the rear view and down at slowing to a stop or whatever.

I really think the cars profile rocks with the wing up = especially for taking pictures.

I think if you go back and look at the posts in this thread you'll find most folks favor leaving it in Auto. If you like it up, go for it.

I used to drive 28 miles to work every day, up to 65 or 70 in four different places and back to 0 at stop signs. I kinda felt it was wearing the mechanism unnecessarily so I started raising it manually for the trip. Otherwise I leave it in auto mode.
Now I live four miles from work and never go over 50 so it stays in auto all the time (except to show off of course!).

I do the same thing....was too lazy to write it though. I sit in traffic all morning so I raise it manually

Automatic. I like to drive along side someone at about 57mph and then take it up to deployment speed and watch the look on their faces in my rear view mirror. Plus I like the aviation sound as it deploys.

If you leave it in Auto, you can get an advantage when braking cos you know you are doing just under 40 when you hear the noise of the spoiler. This means you don't need to take your eyes off the road to look at the speedo.

Has given me the advantage under braking a couple of times (once to brake harder and another time to ease off and brake later).
